Moshe Halbertal is a political philosopher and one of the leading scholars of Jewish-thought in our time. He is a Professor of Jewish Thought and Philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the author of noted books, among them: “Maimonides: Life and Thought” (Princeton, 2013) and “Nachamenides: Law and Mysticism” (Yale, 2020).
Moshe Halbertal was among the founders of the Israeli religious peace movement: "Netivot Shalom" and one of the authors of the Israeli army `code of ethics`. He also served as a board member of the Israeli Association for Civil Rights.
